Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park, now in its fourth year, is proud to announce ‘Open House’, an incredible four days of FREE entertainment and activities taking place in the capital in-between its headline music performances.

On the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th July, a huge international food market, FREE open-air movie nights, Wimbledon screenings, comedy, electrifying karaoke session with ‘Rockaoke’, and the Barclaycard Betterview platform – offering amazing views of Hyde Park 100ft above the ground – will make Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park the destination in London this summer.

Barclaycard Betterview
Live the high life and soak up London's skyline from 100ft above the ground on the Barclaycard Betterview platform, where you'll get a bird's eye view of Hyde Park, and all completely for free! Anyone can enter Hyde Park and experience a ‘better view’ for free during the four days. ‘Flights’ are booked in person on the day and are offered on a first come first served basis and subject to favourable weather conditions.
Barclaycard Betterview will also host a variety of special events during the festival weekdays - weather permitting - including a sky-high busker at 2.30pm on July 5th and an exclusive dating night on the same evening, courtesy of Match, the UK’s most successful dating service.

Film Festival
Movie fans should not miss the Coca-Cola Film Nights - four themed nights of free movie screenings, including: 80s classics; Hollywood blockbusters; Brit flicks and musicals you can sing along to. It kicks off on Monday 4th at 6pm. There is a film for everyone so forget the multiplex; Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park is the place to catch a movie. Screenings are completely free of charge but access is on a first come, first served basis, so grab a picnic blanket and head down to Hyde Park to secure your spot.

Entertainment and ‘Rockaoke’
ITV’s Arielle Free will host FREE evening live entertainment from 6.30pm onwards. Kicking off the entertainment on Monday 4th is an electrifying karaoke session with ‘Rockaoke’ – a musical experience back by popular demand for a second year. Brave punters will have the chance to sing their favourite hit with a live band and a gig audience to adore them.

Wimbledon Free Screenings
Tennis fans have the opportunity to cheer on Andy Murray direct from the event – anyone is free to enter Hyde Park and watch the Wimbledon Championships which will be shown on the big screen from 12pm onwards on the four days.

Street Food Market
Embracing the street food explosion, this year will see stalls selling a huge array of lip-smacking snacks and gourmet grub throughout the event. People can pay contactlessly at the event for all food and drinks stalls so they don’t have to stand around waiting in queues. There is also a chilled-out seating area for you to kick back and enjoy the event, and an upbeat background playlist offers the perfect backdrop to this unique festival.

Bleecker Street Burger, Bad Brownie, Tongue ‘n Cheek, Holy Cow, Smoke Stak and Waffle On are just some of the many stalls that will be dishing up their wares. Over half of the traders will have a vegetarian option and a quarter of them will have a vegan option.
Free Music

The Barclaycard Stage plays host to four evenings of awesome music, including the London Gay Men’s Chorus on Tuesday 5th, London Gay Big Band on Wednesday 6th, and Royal Organ Due and Barry Peters on Thursday 7th – all for free.

Royal Parks Horticulture Show
On Tuesday 5th July, the Royal Parks Horticulture Show will be hosting a unique competition to find the country’s best budding horticulturalists, bakers, jam makers and photographers, followed by two days of talks and demonstrations.
