Walthamstow International Film Festival is working in collaboration with The Stow Film Lounge to premiere film, 'By Our Selves' by Andrew Kötting on 1st July, 2016.
This experimental film documents a four-day walk from Epping Forest to Northamptonshire made by the English Poet John Clare. Toby Jones, Iain Sinclair and a Straw Bear follow in his footsteps exactly 150 years after his death. This will be followed by Q&A with Iain Sinclair who is an actor / writer and plays himself in the film. Sinclair is best known for his novel Downriver (1991) which won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize and the 1992 Encore Awar.
