tenthirtyart is delighted to announce 'Frayed at the Edge’, another group exhibition by its members.

tenthirtyart is a group of artists who began working collaboratively after meeting at Central Saint Martins.  Together we respond to a site or space in a way that reflects our individual practice and our common interest in creating a cohesive site-specific installation.
The record of migration paths, pattern making, memory and trace, the domestic, post-colonialism and identity inform our endeavours.

The Rag Factory has enabled us to engage with the rich cultural history of Brick Lane. The Huguenot refugees, weavers and artisans, created the beginning of an ever evolving neighborhood that reflected the migration of people fleeting persecution. The language of fabric and textiles is closely woven into the narrative of life. Fabric as metaphor, inspired this show.
