Featuring Huge Sand Sculptures & Wooden Chainsaw Carvings, Chainsaw Challenge, Timbersports Athletes, plus lots of outdoor fun for all ages.

The team behind one of London’s favourite festivals The London International Ice Festival are bringing another magnificent experience to Chiswick House. An exciting, unique immersive arts & cultural Festival, which centres around monumental sand sculpting and chainsaw wood carving prepare to be amazed. Watch some of the world’s finest sculptors working in WOOD and SAND captivate the audience with their LIVE sculpting of staggering, large-scale interpretations of the Festival’s chosen themes.

SAW - Each talented carver will transform huge, reclaimed tree trunks into themed sculptures. Over the duration of the weekend they will mesmerise everyone with their remarkable skills in handling chainsaws, to make each beautiful work of art from 2-metre and 1-metre tall trunks.

SAND - See enormous sand sculptures unfold right in front of you. Never been seen before in Central London, international artists will craft each monumental 3-metre high x 2 metre wide sand sculpture over the duration of the Festival. Simply marvel as these monumental sculptures are created, each one made with over a tonne of sand.

As you watch the artists create works of art in front of you, soak up the fabulous family friendly atmosphere by day & night. There will be a programme of specialist displays by the Timbersports Athletes, Beach Volleyball teams, Speed Chainsaw Sculpting, Live Music, Street Entertainers and our Resident Vintage DJ. Enjoy Pop Up Craft Food & Drink in the Cherry Orchard, plus Outdoor Games and Fun for all.
