Circular - Strada Circolare

Written and produced by Anna Carfora, "Circular - Strada Circolare" is the captivating story of the relationship between an old lady and her niece. Strongly connected to one another, they are travelling in search of the meaning of Life while walking towards the old lady’s last destination: her final nursing home. On their journey, they make different symbolic encounters: the ‘cool crowd’, a ‘doctor’, a ‘father’ and ‘a lover’. “Circular - Strada Circolare” illustrates a moment of passage in the lives of the two women. At the end of the way they find the end of life and a new beginning.

Circular - Strada Circolare is Anna Carfora’s first play. The show was originally written in Italian and has been translated by english writer Tim Parks, who commented: “It has a sort of lyrical formality. I like its strangeness and sincerity”.

Nobody’s Child is a Theatre Company composed of London based very talented Italian performers. The entire ensemble cast have a solid preparation in theatre practice, achieved both in Italy and in UK. The high level of their artistic skills include dance, movement direction, theatrical direction, fine arts, and true talent.
