Storytellers Laura Simms and Sally-Pomme Clayton tell stories, talk about stories, interview each other, share 25 years of their storytelling friendship in a unique collaboration. Sheherazade told stories to save her life. Her sister sat beside her listening. Without the listener - the teller and the tales do not exist. Come and join Laura and Pomme as they take it in turns to be teller and listener, telling myths and fairytales with powerful female figures, sharing ideas about why stories are so important today, taking mythical detours and following fairytale tangents. This is a rare opportunity to catch wonderful New York storyteller Laura Simms in the UK and hear her create a world of magic through words. Adults only! A pop-up happening by rhapsōidos - seeking the mythic imagination
