Raise your flagon at Mr Fogg’s Tavern! Phileas cordially invites you to honour the Best of British Beer Festival at Mr Fogg’s Tavern, Covent Garden’s quirkiest Victorian-inspired pub. From Monday the 8th August to Sunday the 14th of August, Mr Fogg’s British Beer Festival will be serving up our island’s finest ales, accompanied by tasting notes, in a quintessentially British setting.

Mr Fogg’s eclectic Tavern will be showcasing the finest libations in the land, from full-bodied ales to silky stouts. The thoroughly British selection includes the exceptional Foggs Lager (4% ABV), a smooth, refreshing golden lager, endowed with a sweet vanilla aroma, and Foggs Best: (3.7% ABV) a deliciously delicate ale, which lays this country's hallowed, herbaceous hops on a firm, biscuity bed of pale and crystal malt. Or, enjoy a perfect summertime pint of classic Foggs Cider (5.8%), with a clean fruity aroma, balanced perfectly with spring flowers and woody notes.

To help you sample all Phileas has to offer, the bar will be serving Mr Fogg’s beer flights, splitting your pint in to three third of a pint samples for just £5.

The Tavern’s kitchen will be cooking the very best of British homemade food, as part of the Best Of British festivities all this month. In true Victorian fashion, on Thursday the 11th, Mr Tom Carradine’s Band will also be performing a rousing “best of British” music hall sing-along. Uniting the British traditions of fine ales, timeless British food and music hall entertainment, this will certainly not be one to miss!
