I remember the first time I saw a typewriter…

Pressing the keys, creating music and images...images from life. For over 13 years I have developed a unique drawing technique employing a manual typewriter. I have also collaborated with various artists and created one-off performances incorporating sound effects, video projections and drawings.

To mark the launch of my new website KeiraRathbone.com I would like to invite you on the 7th of September at Vout-O-Reenee's to a collaborative performance. I am thrilled to have joined forces with Joel Byron the Founder and Creative Director of BigPlus Productions and film maker/artistic who specialises in working with analogue film such as Super 8mm and 16mm.

Joel and I both enjoy to filter life through our analogue mediums, manipulate their functions and explore possibilities. Expect a one of a kind performance, a reaction to the question 'Where do you go?’ in an entertaining evening out.
