Fay Hield - critically acclaimed, award winning folk singer released her third solo album ‘Old Adam’ in February.
Just prior to the October tour a single film is to be released for Fay’s version of Raggle Taggle Gypsy. Working from the beautiful illustrations Nick Hayes produced for the release of Old Adam earlier in the year, animator Kristina Pulejkova brings the tale to life.

In the live shows Fay and The Hurricane Party (Sam Sweeney, Rob Harbron, Ben Nicholls, Toby Kearney and Roger Wilson), offer an atmospheric evening of songs as Fay breathes new life into old tales of love and betrayal, witchcraft and playground games. Audiences will hear songs from her latest album, Old Adam, listed in The Guardian’s Best Albums of 2016, a fresh and original exploration of how we use songs, stories and music to understand what it means to be human. At times sparse and contemplative, at times with a festival stomp, the music is captivating and engaging with plenty of choruses and vibrant interaction with the audience.
