Para-Rowing Party

Come down and join British Rowing in celebrating all things para-rowing at our first ever Para-Rowing Party.

The Para-Rowing parties are open to everyone, regardless of ability or disability.

There will be plenty of experts and specially adapted rowing equipment on hand to help everyone take to the water or have a go on an indoor rowing machine. And for those who don’t fancy giving it a go, there will be plenty of other activities to keep the whole family entertained

At the London Regatta Centre, they’ll be a range of activities for you to try including:
• On-Water taster sessions
• Indoor rowing taster sessions
• Win prizes
• Hear from renowned speakers about disability Sport, health and well being
• Link up to other events in the UK, Italy and France

If you want to have a go at the activities, then turn up in casual clothes and we’ll tell you all the basics to get the most out of your experience.

The extra details....
• All activities are free for disabled participants and their families/ carers
• Activities are suitable to those aged 12 or over.
• Parking available on site
• Accessible changing facilities and toilets available
• Personal floatation devices will be provided free of charge for all participants
• Accessible by wheelchair
• Indoor spaces available at all centres in case of bad weather
• It is advisable to bring spare clothes in case of bad weather or splashing whilst on the water
