Lumen: School of Light

As part of their creative season, Ugly Duck is really happy to invite Lumen for the unique event School of Light.

School of Light will take place on 3rd-5th February 2017 and will be a showcase of artists that explore the relationship between astronomy and light. This will showcase many of the artists who have contributed to previous exhibitions and residencies, since Lumen's launch in September 2014, as well as new names too.

Lumen is an art collective, focused on themes of astronomy and light, regularly exhibiting in churches as well as galleries.

Through art, exhibitions and seminars we aim to raise a dialogue about how humanity understands existence.

The members of Lumen are Louise Beer, Melanie King and Rebecca Huxley.
