See, Read, Listen, Taste & Move to the rythms of Creole art, literature, music, delicious food & dance!!

To celebrate Black History Month “Menm Biten Menm Bagay” (MBMB), the French Caribbean Association UK organises its 7th Creole Day on Sunday 5th October 2008 at the humanist centre the Conway Hall, Holborn tube station, London.

This year’s three main features are:
- The stage of Creole artists, this includes live music with “the Father of Zouk-R&B” Jean-Michel Rotin (Guadeloupe), comedian Stanley Prosper (St-Lucian), emerging Creole UK/France talents Musikalistik, Soca-Zouk with Everis Pellius (St-Lucia/UK) and traditional music/dance groups such as Jenn Ki Ka and Koulé Kreol (France) as well as Zil’O Ka and Quadrille groups (UK). Further entertainment, includes a Double Dutch performance to introduce the audience with this sport that favours inclusions (social, gender & cultural) as well as exchanges between various federations across the world;
- The indoors market where businesses, artists (painters) & organisations from Creole communities will present their products and services;
- The Creole conference with the opportunity to meet Creole historians & writers.
This is a special day of discovery, education and entertainment for the whole family with bi-lingual activities in English and Creole (French based Creole).
