Inside Buckingham Palace
This summer, see lavishly furnished rooms with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection at Buckingham Palace. Highlights include:

Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration
This spectacular exhibition at Buckingham Palace will show the many ways in which diamonds have been used by British monarchs over the last 200 years. The exhibition includes an unprecedented display of a number of The Queen’s personal jewels – those inherited by Her Majesty or acquired during her reign. The exhibition will reveal how many of these extraordinary stones have undergone a number of transformations, having been re-cut or incorporated into new settings during their fascinating history.

The Royal Mews
Between April and October, you can take a free 45-minute guided tour of the Royal Mews. The tours are led by the Wardens, dressed in their striking red and navy livery, and depart at regular intervals throughout the day at the start of the visit.

The tour introduces the work of the Royal Mews, whose staff are responsible for all road travel by The Queen and members of the Royal Family, whether by historic carriage or modern car. You hear how the Mews serves The Queen in the performance of her official duties and prepares for major State and ceremonial occasions, from the State Opening of Parliament to royal weddings.

The State Rooms
The State Rooms are furnished with many of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Van Dyck and Canaletto, sculpture by Canova, exquisite pieces of Sèvres porcelain, and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world.
