SPITI PROJECTS TIBETAN FESTIVAL will take place at The Royal Geographical Society and will feature a talk by famous historian and writer William Dalrymple of this forthcoming book 'THE RETURN OF THE KING - Shah Shuja and the great Game of the first Afghan War.'

Doors open at 6pm with craft stall and exhibition before the talk at 7pm. The evening will include photograph Exhibition by Joan Pollock of images from the Spiti Valley, a stall with Traditional Tibetan style Jewellery – Turquoise, coral and pearls, traditional Spiti Shawla and other artifacts, The Skinner’s Horse Regiment in their Edwardian Costume, a film “A year in the life of the Spiti People” before and after the show, the opportunity to buy William’s books signed by him on the evening and a silent auction.
