Guilty Pleasures presents Pop Stars Party: "More Than A Club"

Throughout the year KOKO houses an eccentric, glittering, all-out sensory overload of an event, in a total celebration of all things POP! On September 29th, Guilty Pleasures returns to KOKO to give you ‘Pop Stars Party: “More Than A Club”. The world is your oyster to choose which pop star to dress as - Prince, Freddie, Jacko, Gaga, Elvis, Amy, Macca, Kylie, Madge, Cher, Seal, Pink, Slash & many other one named celebrities.

A variety of all-singing, all-dancing performers grace the stage at every KOKO event. Boldly and unashamedly, they pull out their funkiest threads and most extreme moves to the soundtrack of pure pop history – all to the audience’s delight, making Guilty Pleasures the original and best party to get your groove on. Party-starter and Guilty Pleasures founder Sean Rowley spins tunes, all-singing, all-dancing; DJ Anna Greenwood will entertain with infectious enthusiasm, plus super special guests Joywride perform their insanely fun glammed-up nostalgia pop.

If that’s not enough entertainment, the incredible dance troupes Hot Gusset and Sparklemotion will be hitting the stage throughout the evening. And, of course, Guilty Pleasures’ very own in-house priest is there to listen to your every woe, in Father Oates and His Confessional Booth. In Room 2, the legendary Boogaloo Stu hosts Pop Magic! In what Gay Times called “an ingenious and artistically brilliant piece of entertainment” join DIY pop star and musical alchemist Boogaloo Stu in a tongue-in-cheek bid to create an instant Number One Pop Smash Hit – in just one hour.
