Solve a trail of cryptic Christmas clues in London this December.

HiddenCity is an experience where you solve a trail of clues sent to you by text message. Sign up online, bring your mobile phone and a map, and get ready to rediscover your city.

Each clue directs you to a hidden location within walking distance, and asks you a question about your surroundings. If you text the correct answer back you’ll receive the next clue. All locations are free to enter.

In the Christmas Trail you’ll discover hidden places and revisit some of our festive favourites. As it's Christmas you'll uncover mini treats. Starting at Somerset House's popup Lavazza Coffee Bar, warm yourself up with a complimentary cup of gourmet coffee, then depart on a jolly journey. Sip wine in cosy pubs, see seasonal art and ramble under the riverside's Christmas lights.

The HiddenCity Christmas Trail is graded ‘easy-medium’ difficulty. It takes 3-5 hours to complete, including one 20 minute break, and one 30 minute break for drinks along the way. No knowledge of London required, just bring an A-Z map (or your smartphone).
