For over a hundred years, Lewis Carroll has been enthralling readers with his fantastical writing and ingenious word play. Though most famed for "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland", Carroll penned a number of books and nonsense poems, as well as being a renowned photographer, logician and mathematician.
Now, to celebrate his 181st birthday, a group of nineteen illustrators will be exploring his work through a weeklong exhibition at the Curious Duke Gallery running from January 24th to 30th 2013. We are delighted to invite you to the private view of this show on the evening of the 24th of January 2013 (6-9pm). This will be complete with a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
"Curiouser and Curiouser" is a collaborative show between seasoned illustrators and new illustrative talent. Displayed in the Curious Duke, a contemporary space in the up and coming area of Whitecross Street, all works are for sale.
