2)
Excellent sketch duo Cardinal Burns host and perform at the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town. Among their guests are unique absurdist Dr Brown, promising young Norwegian comic Daniel Simonsen and more. [Tuesday]

3)

4)
Laughing Boy Comedy Club's Old Street branch has a top line-up this week, with recent award-winner Josh Widdicombe, comedy rapper Doc Brown and much more. The venue is the City Music and Arts Project. [Thursday]

5)
The Comedy Carnival at Sound in Leicester Square welcomes one-liner merchant Milton Jones, top impersonator Stefano Paolini, Hal Cruttenden and more. [Friday]

As ever, all listings and much more can be found at www.londonisfunny.com. In addition, there are also guides to the top stand-up DVDs for Christmas, a guide to watching comedy on New Year's Eve, news of Jerry Seinfeld's London gig (blimey!) and much more.
