Now is a perfect opportunity to get your head into gear re new years resolutions and there's no doubt about it ...getting a new Attitude to Food can make the world of difference!

Here are more tips that'll give you that tip-top feeling!

Workout daily ...even if it's just a short, brisk walk. Think of exercise as a 'fountain of youth.' It produces those feel-good hormones and gives us the energy we're looking for ...and if you don't think you have any, start-out with ten minutes and you'll soon find you do.

Cap caffeine, alcohol and sugar intake. These stimulants may provide a quick-fix, but when they wear off, they leave you feeling drained. Instead, eat foods that keep blood sugar levels steady.

Eat fibre rich, nutrient dense whole foods including green veg, legumes, grains and good fats including nuts, seeds, avocados and oily fish. Upgrading your diet is easy ...just apply a general rule by sticking to food as close to the way Mother Nature provides it.

Eat smaller portions. Ever had carb-heavy lunch and wondered why you feel the need for a nap afterwards? That's because digestion takes precedence over many of the body's functions, even resting, so if you're giving it loads of work to do, your digestive system will get over-stressed which depletes energy levels and results in a feeling of sluggishness.
