For those of you not in the know, we're currently in the midst of Fairtrade Fortnight, an intiative established by the Fairtrade Foundation to raise awareness of using Fairtrade products.
One brand I've come across that does just that is Sika, a gorgeous range of clothing using individually sourced fabrics from Ghanian markets, and all their garments are produced in Ghana by highly skilled tailors and seamstresses, providing a regular income and giving something back to the local community.
Inspired by 50s movie stars and African holidays, the current collection combines gorgeous tailoring with playful prints to create a perfect collection for Spring. I'm in love with the vibrant green and blue floral printed dress, a great structured piece, it looks fab with tights until the weather warms up a bit and you can bare those legs!
