Just in time for Father's Day, drag your Dad down to Chelsea's Duke of York's Square this Saturday and test his fitness by taking part in BRUT and Help for Heroes' Race for Recovery. After last years success, male grooming brand BRUT will be hosting Race for Recovery again to raise even more money for Help for Heroes through a fun day of exercise.
They will once again be bringing Military Personal Fitness Assessment to the public - 2 minutes of press ups followed by 2 minutes of sit ups and a 1.5 mile run - an assessment that must be passed by anyone who wants to work in the military it's the perfect opportunity to see if your Dad* would cut the mustard!
Physical training instructors from British Military Fitness will be on hand throughout the day to put you through your paces and provide encouragement and guidance on the day - it might sound daunting, but it's sure to be a day of fun! It's £10 to take part and then raise as much sponsorship as you can. ALL money will go straight to Help for Heroes, who provide support to wounded servicemen and women.
Not only will you get to test yourself against the military standard of fitness but everyone who takes part will be entered into a prize draw to win 3 months British Military Fitness membership. PLUS I also have a fab BRUT goody bag to give away (see picture above) - head over to our competition page to enter!
If you think you have the bottle then come along and join in, with four start times of 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm there's no excuse!
