If you love photography and you love Hollywood, you should be hot-footing it down to the Imitate Modern in Marylebone ASAP. Because that's where you'll find the respected works of Photographer Tyler Shields and his newly launched exhibition.
Beyond The Gates is quite the fascinating set of photographs. Do you remember that infamous blood-soaked picture of Lindsay Lohan from last year? Well, Tyler was the man behind it. A year on, his new influence is his stunning girlfriend Francesca Eastwood (daughter of the legendary Clint Eastwood), who has become the main feature in a lot of his images.
Of course Tyler's work still oozes intrigue and controversy - he wasn't named as one of the "100 Best Things In The World" by GQ magazine for nothing - but we found that these photographs don't stick in your mind quite like the Lohan shot did. Still, you'll find blood, diamonds, Christian Louboutins (ripped to shreds) and more in one Imitate Modern room and each image is without a doubt worth your time. So if you are fascinated by Hollywood's glitzy imagery, then Beyond The Gates exhibiton is definitely one to visit.
