One of my all time favourite designers (the one thing I have in common with the Middletons...) Alice Temperley this week launched a diffusion line with none other than High Street stalwart John Lewis, at last bringing more affordable versions of her stunning creations to us mere mortals who can't afford the real thing.
The beautiful collection, named Somerset by Alice Temperley after her home county, contains signature separates including silk dresses and pussybow blouses, as well as shoes and accessories, with prices ranging from £29 for a scarf to £999 for a deliciously covetable shearling coat.
Designed exclusively for John Lewis, the range echoes the designer's signature bohemian style, and having landed in store and online on Tuesday several pieces have sold out already. My pick of the bunch is this divine silk and lace dress (also available in black and leopard print). I love a good tea dress, and will be layering this all winter long with chunky boots and jumpers and perhaps a jaunty beret.
