Premium beauty brand Sisley has pledged to help raise the funds towards the 2012 running costs of Kids Company’s existing Heart Yard by launching the ‘Become a Friend of The Heart Yard’ Campaign.
A therapeutic sanctuary in the heart of South London, Kids Company’s Heart Yard is a place where the most vulnerable children can receive intensive emotional and psychological support. From the outside it looks like a plain Victorian house. Inside it is house of love and healing where the team supports deeply vulnerable and traumatised children, in order to help them and their carers overcome the unimaginable abuses they have suffered.
Kids Company was founded in 1996 by Camila Batmanghelidjh and provides practical, emotional and educational support to 17,000 vulnerable children in London. Sisley will donate 10% from the proceeds of all sales of its best-selling Sisleÿa Global Anti-Age and Sisleÿa Eye & Lip Contour Cream until the 31st December 2012 at Sisley counters nationwide, as well as encouraging people to become a ‘Friend of the Heart Yard’. Each friend commits to either a one off donation or to a monthly standing order which will contribute to the ongoing running costs of the Heart Yard sanctuary.
Sisley will also be organising a fundraising lunch to launch the ‘Friend of the Heart Yard’ campaign and will initiating fundraising and volunteering activities for its company employees in the UK to raise further funds for the charity.
