Old Spitalfields Market is scouring the capital for Londoners who possess a love for the East End and a flair for creativity.
Old Spitalfields is enlisting the likes of London’s top bloggers to offer this unique opportunity out to their communities. On November 5th, five of the best applicants will be chosen to become part of a crack team of Spitalfields Reporters.
Perhaps you or someone who know is a literary genius, a dab-hand with a camera or just can’t stop vlogging their way around the city. Maybe you just can’t keep away from the East side at the weekends, and spend lunch hours checking the Shoreditch property listings. Whatever it is you enjoy about the East End, Old Spitalfields really wants to hear from Londoners of all experience levels.
Applications should be sent to [email protected], and can consist of any of the following:

- Video or vlog
- Audio snippet or podcast
- A photo piece
- Interactive maps
- Storywheel
- A social campaign
- CV
- Pinterest idea
- Surprise them! East Londoners are a clever bunch (not that they’re biased). If you think you know a better way to bag a place on the team, then bring it to the table and get noticed.
On November 5th five columnists will be announced under the categories of Vintage, Beauty, Food, Fashion and of course the East London Local spot is also up for grabs.
Though the position is currently unpaid, Spitalfields Reporters will of course have priority invitations to exclusive events held at Old Spitalfields and the local area, plenty of chances to take advantage of a multitude of goodies and, of course, the opportunity to write for an audience of thousands... All under the watchful eye of one of East London’s most established and vibrant stomping grounds.
