If you're the kind of person who writes a shopping list of desired beauty buys as they trawl their favourite magazines and websites, (or is that just me?) I have another purchase to add to it.
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to attend an event hosted by Dr.Hauscka's wonderful in-house make up artist, Karim Sattar, where I was one of the first in the country to be shown the beautiful new limited edition spring/summer 2013 make up collection, including the dreamy Dear Eyes... palette.
Formulated using wholly natural ingredients, as with all Dr.Hauschka products, it includes organic plant extracts such as anthyllis, witch hazel and black tea which care for the delicate skin around the eyes whilst also soothing and protecting.
The beautiful trio (£27, available from March but can be pre-ordered on the website) comprises three of spring's warm, subtle tones in three contrasting textures; a sparkling nude, a pearlescent rose and a matte chocolate. In a gorgeous copper compact, as a stroke of genius the three colours blended together form almost the exact shade of copper as their housing.
In addition to the new eye trio, the collection includes the best-selling black Volume Mascara (£21) with a new, unique bendable wand, designed to reach even the smallest corner lashes. A new formula of the classic black Kajal Eyeliner (£15) now includes a smudger to allow for softer blending, and the collection is completed with two premium make up brushes, the Eyeshadow Blender Brush and the Eye Definer Brush, (£21 each) both made with ethically collected natural hair.
