Purveyors of fine Parisian fragrance Diptyque have branched out in to a new realm, that of the home diffuser, and they've made a mighty fine job of it.
A far cry from the sickly sweet supermarket diffusers of old, Un Air de Diptyque is a thing of pure beauty any home would appreciate. A ceramic outer houses an inner chamber of metal, laser cut with the brand's signature text, in which the diffuser capsules are placed before an air current passing over them releases the fragrance.
With five of Diptyque's signature scents - Figuier, Feu de Bois, Ambre, 34 and (my all time favourite) Baies - available, the refill is interchangeable at any time as the diffuser does not retain any traces of the previous scent. Whilst significantly pricier than a supermarket equivalent (RRP £240, refills £25 each...) with an object of such desire there is no comparison. An investment piece for the season if ever there was one.
