Flower Power

Love London

Florals certainly has a moment on the catwalks this season and with Chelsea Flower Show opening today what better time to share my favourite floral fashions with my dear readers. From bold botanicals to romantic blousy blooms, fresh flora is all over the high street at the moment.

Warehouse's bold floral maxi dress is perfect for office-friendly summer dressing; the chiffon skirt manages to be the ideal blend of sexy and demure. £80 at www.warehouse.co.uk. If, like me, you still have a diary chock full of weddings this summer, chances are you may need a classy cover up just in case our Great British Summer doesn't quite ring true. I've been caught out before in a gorgeously floaty chiffon dress only for the heavens to open and the temperature to plummet, which is why I'll be on the hunt for this chic floral coat, £29.99 from H&M. The bonus of resembling Joseph's Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat is that it's certain to match every dress in your wardrobe.

Bold prints not quite your style? Head to Topshop where this painterly print might tickle your fancy. I'll be wearing mine with skinny jeans, ballet pumps and massive sunglasses. £26 www.topshop.com. For a subtle nod to the look, invest in Ted Baker's Luceey court shoes (£120 at www.tedbaker.com, a gorgeously pastel take on the trend. Finally, something that's almost too pretty to keep under wraps. Marks & Spencer's Limited Collection Floral Longline Padded Underwired Bra (£17.50 at www.marksandspencer.com) is perfect for showing off a toned torso, just make sure to team with a high-waisted bottom so as not to flash too much flesh.
