Jenny Packham is undoubtedly one of my favourite designers ever. Not only does she create most exquisite gowns and accessories, but she herself is a total delight. I have an internship in her studio one summer many years ago whilst at university and will always remember her as being absolutely lovely to work for.
That aside, her pieces are usually way out of my price league. One day I will own a Jenny Packham gown (or, the Holy Grail, a JP wedding dress...) but for now it's something of a pipe dream. Nevertheless, the summer sale has arrived and to my surprise some of her accessories might be slightly more achievable...
I've fallen a little bit in love with the Meadow Necklace, down to £252 from £420. Featuring clusters of pacific opal, light rose and sapphire stones, finished with elegant sequin flowers, it's mounted on a double layer of silk organza, finished with an invisible magnetic sliding clasp. Perhaps I might own some JP sooner than I had anticipated...
