Former Catatonia Welsh warbler Cerys Matthews makes her debut as composer for the stage writing the music for the new National Theatre production, Our Country's Good.
Written by Timberlake Wertenbaker, and based on The Playmaker by Thomas Keneally, the play depicts the story of the first ship of convicts arriving in Australia's Botany Bay in 1788 and tells of the brutal reality of colony life in this vast land.
The show also features musicians Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, this year's BBC Radio 2 'Folk Duo of the Year'.
