As spring approaches (somewhere on the horizon...) London starts to comes alive again and no more so than in East London. First Thursdays is an initiative organised by Whitechapel Gallery in partnership with Time Out that sees stores, galleries, museums and pubs in the area stay open later on the First Thursday of every month (get it?).
With talks, workshops and tours all on the agenda, it's worth checking in; you may just discover something new and exciting. If you're out and about tomorrow, head to Redchurch Street where J.Crew (No. 58, E2 7DP) will be celebrating the occasion by partnering with the Redchurch Brewery to host a complimentary in-store beer masterclass from 6 to 8pm.There will be beer tasting and talks from the experts at the Brewery, plus a chance to shop the new men's spring collection from the US masters of suave style.
Go on, pop down and enjoy a beer. It's Friday somewhere...
