Every so often a campaign will come along that just makes you want to pack it all in and run away. Usually that task falls to Dolce & Gabbana (the lure of spending summer frolicking across the Amalfi coast is real and true...) but this year I fear it's the newly-released campaign video from Heidi Klein that's going to seduce me into the arms of foreign shores.
Shot in the Maldives (in and around the Lux* Maldives resort) by renowned fashion photographer David Mandelberg, the video features top Belgian model Jessica van der Steen. With an absolutely dreamy soundtrack in the form of Flow by Raphael Lake, it instantly ignites that intense sense of wanderlust I've been desperately trying to keep at bay; the opening notes alone will instantly transport you to an idyllically secluded tropical beach paradise.
The stunning SS16 Heidi Klein collection is the star of the show, featuring pieces perfect for a summer getaway such as the delicate printed silk Venice Beach overshirt and the absolutely dreamy Tobago snakeskin print bikini (pictured, £190). With just a hint of gold and a flattering (and supportive) halter neck, I have a sneaky feeling this might be coming with me on my travels this summer.
