The usual format of Pub in the Park might not be able to go ahead this year, but that hasn't stopped organisers thinking outside the box and creating a brand new experience.
Pub in the Park's Drive-In Garden Party is bringing delicious food and an amazing line-up of live music to three locations...which can all be enjoyed from the safety of your own private enclosure.
Visitors can simply park up, pop out and party with a car-full of friends and family with each visiting party given their own private enclosure. Amazing ‘Pub in the Park style’ food will be available from choice of five different restaurants, courtesy of Michelin-starred chefs including Tom Kerridge, Atul Kochhar and Paul Ainsworth. Limited walk in tickets are also available, so up to ten people can enjoy live music and incredible food in their own private garden party enclosure.
Each event provides three hours of feelgood live music and DJ sets from acts including Kaiser Chiefs, Keane, 80s legend Rick Astley, Groove Armada DJ Set, Soul II Soul, Scouting for Girls, Squeeze, Steve Harley, Gabrielle and the awesome Basement Jaxx, with even more still to be announced.
Hampers of drinks can be ordered before or during the event and will be safely delivered to each enclosure by waiting staff, while guests will be able to wander the perimeter of the giant main arena to soak up the atmosphere, experience and shop from the Pub in the Park family of brands including small producers at the Artisan Car Boot Sale.
Although seven of the originally scheduled events to 2021, Pub in the Park organisers still hope to host Pub in the Park Marlow, at the end of September, with social distancing measures in place - fingers crossed.
