At a time when health, wellness and self-care have become more mantras than buzzwords, this week saw the launch of House of Wisdom, a first-of-its-kind self-development wellness space in the heart of London.
The innovative holistic studio has been set up to help empower the body and mind with a programme of classes, talks and workshops, born out of a collective dedication from its three founders towards creating a space for people to explore techniques for making positive changes in their own lives.
The oasis a stone's through from Great Portland Street tube comprises 2,500 sq/ft of space, a multi-sensorial wellness sanctuary with emotive lighting and a relaxing colour palette to put visitors instantly at ease. The holistic offering also includes a healthy cafe, a library of profound books for personal transformation and wellness, as well as a small lifestyle shop to help with at-home practice. Classes cover everything from breathwork and meditation to kundalini yoga and sound baths, with a weekly schedule available online.
With the crazy world we're living in, it's the perfect time to embrace taking a step back and enjoy a slower pace of life.
