West London bakery Jack & Beyond has a delicious array of Valentine’s bakes, from Pink Heart Meringues and heart shaped Jammy Dodgers to sumptuous Red Velvet Brownies that can be sent in the post.


For customers in London Jack & Beyond will also hand deliver Red Velvet Valentine’s Cupcakes with Vanilla Mascarpone and Cream Cheese Frosting and Meringue Heart on top for the finishing touch. LOVE CHINOIS AT HOME


If you’ve not yet had the joy of experiencing Park Chinois’ incredible food, now’s your chance. This weekend Love Chinois At Home Valentine’s menu for two can be ordered through the Park Chinois website (via Slerp), and via Supper and Deliveroo. Available on Saturday and Sunday, the Manu (£195) includes impeccably prepared Chinese dishes from Executive Chef Lee Che Liang; a stunning rose-inspired Valentine’s dessert; two pre-bottled cocktails of your choice; and two beautiful Park Chinois fish chopstick holders and a calligraphy notecard, ensuring your table setting is as elegant as your dinner.



Tempting appetisers such as wasabi prawns and crispy chilli chicken with Szechuan peppers; alongside a Chef’s selection of dim sum are sure to delight. BREAKFAST IN BED FROM THE BERKELEY


The Berkeley is giving its Breakfast in Bed delivery service a romantic makeover, delivering on the 13th and 14th of February. The Valentine’s breakfast menu features glossy raspberry croissants baked that morning at The Berkeley, freshly squeezed orange juice or a Berkeley Boost juice, yoghurt and granola laden with berries, vibrant fruit salad, and the piece de resistance - heart shaped brioche French toast, dipped in Madagascan vanilla butter with fruit, berry coulis, maple syrup and clotted cream.



Add a bottle or two of Laurent Perrier champagne for a mimosa moment, or McQueens Flowers have created two beautiful bouquets for The Berkeley, which can be added to your order for the ultimate in romance – choose from red Naomi roses and seasonal, aromatic foliage or a snow-white bouquet of anemones, ranunculus and tulips with fragrant eucalyptus. The Berkeley Breakfast in Beds are bundled in stamped brown paper bags, finished with handwritten tags, and come with the day’s newspaper. 


The Valentine’s Breakfast in Bed starts from £28 and is available for two people, or for one should you be separated from your Valentine.

THE CONNAUGHT PATISSERIE GETS A VALENTINE’S MAKEOVER


The Connaught Patisserie team have been busy whipping up romantic confections for the week of Valentine’s.  The star of the show is a glossy, picture-perfect dark chocolate mousse, raspberry and chocolate sponge cake, topped with raspberries, flecks of gold and chocolate hearts.  The hearts can be personalised with initials.  


The Patisserie’s signature Connaughty hound is dressed in red for the occasion, donning a collar complete with heart shaped tag.


This Valentine’s limited edition combines flavours of vanilla mousse, raspberry and lychee, topped on a white chocolate and almond base.

A ROMANTIC AFTERNOON TEA FROM CLARIDGE’S


What better way to mark Valentine’s, than with the iconic Claridge’s afternoon tea? Lovingly made finger sandwiches, scones accompanied by Cornish clotted cream and Marco Polo gelée, and of course, cakes, will be boxed, ribboned and whizzed round town to bring a little magic to London homes.  Rhubarb and vanilla Religieuse, quince and apple streusel tart, passion fruit cheesecake and Valrhona dark chocolate brownie are all on the menu, and as a special gift, the afternoon tea is complete with a tin of Claridge’s blend tea and clotted cream fudge. 


If you prefer to celebrate with supper, the glamour and romance of The Foyer is just an order away. The Valentine’s Day Menu is a feast for two, full of legendary Claridge’s dishes – choose from Claridge’s seafood cocktail or a ballotine of foie gras to start, either lobster wellington or beef wellington as a show stopping main complete with delicious trimmings, and finish with vanilla and rhubarb St. Honoré to share.  This decadent delivery includes champagne or bottled negronis mixed in The Fumoir bar, and a single red rose for a final flourish.  Bouquets of red roses and gifts from Claridge’s are also available to add to your order.


The Claridge’s Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea is £50 and serves one. The Claridge’s Valentine’s Day Menu is £200 and serves two.
