It's back! Kräftskiva, Sweden’s annual crayfish celebration, is almost upon us and Nordic restaurant Aquavit London is celebrating in style with a seafood feast to remember. Designed to bring friends and family together, kräftskiva is a unique Swedish tradition and it’s all happening at the St James’s restaurant between the 11th August and 11th September.
Indulge in the freshest of crayfish by the dozen (£32), served with västerbotten cheese tart; buttered new potatoes with dill; and sourdough bread with seaweed butter.
In true Scandi-style, crayfish is best paired with a shot of aquavit – the tradition is one for every claw if you’re up to the challenge! Aquavit London boasts an extensive range of its namesake, from Nordik Akevitt Oak Aged to Loittens Three Stars – they’re not to be missed.
Whether dining inside the stunning restaurant or outside on the spacious al fresco terrace, Aquavit London is the perfect spot for long leisurely lunches and superior suppers with friends and family this summer.
