WAGAMAMA ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH MENTAL HEALTH SWIMS FOR A SERIES OF COMMUNITY-FOCUSED OPEN WATER SWIM EVENTS

Love London

wagamama is announcing its partnership with charity, Mental Health Swims to celebrate the brands latest campaign, Dive In. The new campaign explores the connection between body and mind and draws an unexpected and compelling parallel between the rejuvenating feeling of open water swimming and the soul warming first slurp of a steaming bowl of ramen.

Hoping to capture the essence of the unique experience wagamama offers its guests, the partnership will see the launch of a series of events designed to provide a free, safe, and inclusive space for communities to come together, connect with each other, and experience the first-ever, swim-up wagamama. The ticketed events will take place at London's West Reservoir Hackney on Sunday, October 15th, and Brighton Music Hall Beach Huts on Saturday, October 21st, starting at 9am, with further events to follow.

Focusing on "dips, not distance", these events aim to encourage individuals of all abilities to dip into open water swimming and promote the benefits . Guests at the event can look forward to sampling wagamama’s new menu showcasing a selection of new bowls designed to warm the soul. Inspired by classic Korean flavours, guests will enjoy the brand-new warming hot pot and chouxnuts to fuel themselves post-swim and will sip on a selection of soul warming teas new to the menu including the strawberry + roobius loose leaf blend.

Kay Bartlett, Chief Marketing Officer at wagamama, expressed her excitement about the partnership: "At wagamama, we believe in the power of bringing people together over shared experiences. Our nourishing bowls aren’t just about food, they’re about the sensory journey and feeling of enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Promoting well-being and mindfulness is important to us and that’s why we’re proud to partner with Mental Health Swims to create a welcoming space where people can connect with their communities, embrace the thrill of open water swimming, and enjoy wholesome bowls designed to warm the soul.”

Rachel Ashe, Managing Director of Mental Health Swims, shared her thoughts on the collaboration: "We are delighted to partner with wagamama for these events. At Mental Health Swims, we believe that open water swimming can be a transformative experience for individuals' mental health.
