WHOLE FOODS MARKET HAS THANKSGIVING COVERED

Love London

Controversial opinion, but we kinda prefer Thanksgiving dinner to Christmas. With London's joyful multiculturalism serving up plenty of American friends, if you're lucky enough to be enjoying this thankful feast this week, there's only one stop need to pick up all the ingredients needed for your Thanksgiving feast.

Of course you can rely on the US imports at this time of year and Whole Foods Market never disappoints. Admittedly slightly lighter on the pumpkin spice everything than every store we encountered on a recent trip to NYC (seriously, EVERYTHING, they are obsessed), Thanksgiving ingredients are ahoy at London's branches of Whole Foods, including a few super handy shortcuts to ensure the very smoothest of dinners.

What's even better, all of the products in store have passed Whole Foods Market’s rigorous quality standards which prohibit over 230+ preservatives, flavours, colours, sweeteners and other ingredients commonly found in food (ahem, particularly American food...). All of these Thanksgiving treats are available now in their seven London stores and online via Deliveroo.

Our favourites that are set to make a delicious dinner this week are:

Bakeroo Tinned Pumpkin: £2.49

OK so obviously fresh pumpkin is the most-desired for a homebaked pumpkin pie, but have you tried getting one this side of Halloween? This 100% pure pumpkin puree is made from whole pumpkin, wit no nasty additives, and it's perfect stirred with the
Steenbergs Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend (£2.79) as well for the ultimate pie.

Dandies Vegan Vanilla Marshmallows: £3.99

For the naughty but nice candied yams and post-dinner s'mores, these melt-in-the-mouth vegan marshmallows are made with plant-based ingredients so everyone can get in on the goodness. Hurrah.

Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Cornbread Mix: £2.99

If you've not tried cornbread, get involved; slightly sweet with a distinct, almost grainy texture, it's beyond delicious and the carby side everyone needs for such a supper. This little bag is the ultimate support act for your Thanksgiving meal, the perfect choice for traditional cornbread, corn muffins, cornbread stuffing or casserole toppings, it's also gluten free.

Shady Lane Maple Syrup 125ml: £3.99 and Whole Foods Market Pecan halves £6.99

If you're turning your hand to pecan pie these two will stand you in good stead. This is the classic syrup that is deliciously sweet, yet rich and intense while these pecan halves are perfect for elevating Thanksgiving bakes, bringing a rich buttery and sweet crunch to your festive dish.

Yakso Crispy Onions £2.49

Never understimate the power of a crispy onion for elevating a dish! Sprinkle them over salads and greens for a super crunch and a great hit of flavour and your diners will be convinced you're a gourmet.
