This weekend Barbour will unveil the Tartan: The Barbour Way pop-up at 5-7 Carnaby Street - a special exhibition in the heart of the capital which will delve into the stories of the brand’s tartan history and its birthplace of Ayrshire.
Open on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September, the exhibition will immerse the public in the colours of the British Countryside which inspired the iconic Barbour tartan sett. The exhibition will also celebrate the family, legacy and craftsmanship of the Barbour brand through immersive storytelling and archival exploration.
With a live loom artist and complementary floral gifts from Scottish Highlands floral studio, Wild Gorse, consumers will be immersed in the Barbour landscape that has connected the past with the brand’s future for over 130 years.
The exhibition will also host a bar, created in collaboration with Belmond and inspired by the Royal Scotsman, A Belmond Train, celebrating its 40th anniversary, the bar captures the spirit of Scotland with cocktails curated by the train’s expert bar team.
