Born in Ukraine, the salon brand has brought its expert precision to London for the first time with the UK flagship on the King's Road with a menu of top notch treatments, from expert colour and precision cuts, to immaculate nails, HD brows and perfect lash extensions.
Founded by beauty entrepreneur Karina Dubinina, BACKSTAGE is more than a beauty salon. Its elegant open-plan spaces are complemented with private treatment rooms, and every detail has been considered to blend innovation, comfort and contemporary style. Its Smart Service concept allows clients to receive multiple treatments at once without compromising their quality, while the space welcomes groups - it's the perfect set up for a hen party or birthday celebration. Thanks to an elegant central bar, guests can accompany their treatments with a range of tipples including Provence rosé courtesy of their current pop up with a French wine brand.
I recently paid a visit, indulging in a fabulous deep conditioning hair treatment and bouncy blowdry from stylist Raul, complete with one of the best head massages you could imagine, whilst simultaneously receiving what was possible the most precise manicure I've ever had courtesy of nail technician Iryna; their signature Ukrainian manicure is a dry mani with exceptional precision paid to the cuticle work - my nails have never looked better.
The quality of the treatments really speaks for itself - it's quit simply a fantastic space, and one I shall certainly be returning to.
