Christmas comes but once a year but before that happens, there’s something even more exciting coming to town. Back for their annual pre-Christmas sample sale - and I’m going to continue the Christmas theme here – the three wise kings of the British fashion world are bringing the bargains.
Hosted by the Londonewcastle Project Space at 28 Redchurch Street, the joint Folk/Oliver Spencer/YMC sale runs for three days (Friday 4th December 12pm-8pm, Saturday 5th December 12pm-6pm, Sunday 6th December 12pm-4pm) and there are discounts of up to 80%.
All British brands with a similar approach to creating lasting clothing that avoids trends and crosses seasons, Folk, Oliver Spencer and YMC make the perfect bedfellows. Having been in the past (it’s an excellent way to convince your family that you’re super-generous with gifts that cost a lot less than they appear to) I can confirm that you can find a handsome range of knitwear, shirting, footwear and accessories. However, the bargains attract the bargain hunters so arrive early to get in line (yes, there will be a queue) and take plenty of cash because its cash only.
Go knowing what you want, pick up everything that takes your fancy (you can discard in a quiet corner) and if you're lucky you'll come out looking like one of the handsome gentlemen above...
