South west London fans of baseball and softball can train for free at this club in Richmond, the largest of its kind in England. The club was founded in 1992 by youth worker and baseball coach Wayne Nash. The club’s league baseball team, the Richmond Flames, was founded in 2000 and just six years later they won the National Championship. They now also have non-league teams Richmond Riverdogs and Richmond Dragons, open to newer members who just wish to practise, as well as training sessions which focus on workouts and specific core skills. In addition there is a training programme for boys and girls aged 7 to 15.
