I went to The Avenue many years ago, and i had a very nice relaxing bussines lunch.
So this week I decided to take some of my bussenes partners for a bussines dinner.
It was fantastic, the service was very proffesional and friendly.I was happy to enjoy my scallops as a starter was divine, fresh and full of flavours, my collegues went for rather class terrine which they semmed happy with it.
My main course was a rather ordinary rib eye, which i found it extrymely tasty and nicely cook to my likening. we had a nice bottle of red which was a good value.
The room is very bright and airy and the tables are nicely spread which i thought was good for a privacy dinning experience, not in many London top restaurant you will get that.
I look forward to the next visit and hope anyone who dine in there will have the same experience.
The Avenue mainly attracts the young suited crowd as well as a few media types. This makes for a rather intense atmosphere which is emphasised by the mirrored walls and cutting edge design. The food consists of a mix of Italian and English cuisines. They are open for brunch on Sunday. Booking well in advance is essential.
