Always worth stopping in for the happy hour cocktails and beers
There was a time when Exit Bar was a place you would definitely stop in on as you worked your way down the bars of Brick Lane. These days, we're not so sure that this is a must. A narrow bar, stuffed in among the vintage shops and cafes of East London’s most famous street, its interior needs some work. The tables are packed close, the bar swallows space towards the end of the bar and weird, bright cocktail menus contain pictures of the drinks you can order like it’s some after-hours greasy spoon, and no, that’s no good thing.
On the plus side, the retro aesthetic works, the happy hour beers are good value and the cocktails we sampled were well balanced. However, at £9 for an Old Fashioned in this setting, you’d hope so. On the short drink side of the menu the shots are plentiful. Whether it’s a homage to naffness – that deliberate 70’s ‘vibe’ running through the bar – Exit still serves shooters like Blowjob and B52 like it's trying to bring a little slice of the Magaluf stretch to Shoreditch. Along with the drinks there is a concise food menu that serves up burgers, sandwiches and fish and chips at reasonable prices.
Despite our faint objections, Exit is a popular bar on Brick Lane and the music might have something to do with that. Open late, DJs play an eclectic range of party music that appeals to as wide a spectrum as possible - this is Brick Lane after all…

Happy Hour cocktails are amazing!!
Words can't describe the incredible experience we had at EXIT BAR. I had a pleasure of returning to this bar since my last visit in 2013, the bar looks amazing, cosy and relax. We had a bottle of champagne on the house as I booked a place for my birthday celebration, which was gorgeous. We also had cocktails, I'd recommend pornstar martini and old fashioned, they were just perfect. Service was also great, the staff were very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be going back again
the coolest, funkiest, urbanist downtown lovetown i ever experienced uptown. the night had everything, hot chicks and supersexy kicks, all kinds of silky sauce on offer, so much booze u cant loose and cocktail bonanzas to follow... There were top dj's on the spin and a top bongo player that threw everyone with his mind-numbing beats and free flowing fingerflying so super neat...definately giving the night a total unexpected cliffhangers edge!!!!
