Oh, I love Bacchus. It’s another one of ‘K-Towns’ alternative places – they have LOTS of stuff going on, on Tuesdays there are live bands (the night is called ‘Misfits’) on Wednesdays it either ‘New Noise’ (Emo, Punk, Hardcore) or ‘Planet of Sound’ (indie, brit-pop), Fridays it’s either ‘Collision’ (Indie & alternative; also organized (just as ‘Newslang’ at Mc Cluskys) by the people that run Kingston’s Banquet Records) or ‘Lavish’ (disco, Indie, Brit- Pop, and other stuff) – just check their website for details. It’s a tiny place, you go downstairs into a nice, cellar-like room – they’ve got nice little booths where you can sit down and have a break from dancing. During the week it’s busy but not too busy, on the weekends it gets really packed.
