A new jewel was been placed in Woolwich's social crown as the grand Woolwich Equitable opened its doors in October 2014. Set in a former bank, the transformed space is one of elegant grandeur; quirky design features and vintage decor inspired by the building’s original function dominate the interior.
Locally and regionally sourced real ales and craft beers (draught and bottle), including handpicked brews on rotational from local microbrewery Hopstuff Brewery, are flavour of the day here alongside more established favourites. The kitchen serves fresh seasonal British pub fare, including snacking plates, hearty main dishes and traditional Sunday roasts.
The Woolwich Equitable is open until 01.00 on Friday and Saturday nights as DJ’s play an eclectic mix of vintage classics and party beats. Throughout the week there are also other events and plenty of live music to keep you fully entertained.
