All In London Review
Home to London's longest running indie night and once host to the Misfits, Fall Out Boy and the mighty Queen's of the Stone Age. It's an authentic, grimy music club.
Located in the back space below The World’s End, The Underworld has hosted some famous names including Queen’s of the Stone Age, The Misfits (reunion), Fall Out Boy and Frank Black to name a few. It is unapologetically grimy, which only adds to its legend and with a 500 capacity you can always bet on seeing a lively, intimate show.
But not only is The Underworld a live venue, it is also home to weekly club nights where late teens and early twenties students, indie fans and pop-sters come to dance. On Friday night it’s Pop It, which is a weekly run-through of the history of contemporary pop. Madonna, Human League, Prince, The Fugees and Blur compete, genre against genre in the pop battle. On Saturdays the established night Club Silver takes charge. This is the capital’s longest running indie club night, which means you can always expect to find a new crop of impressionable indie fans out to cop a dance. Indie is a loose term and as such don’t be confused when you hear bands as diverse as Daft Punk, The Pixies, Pulp and Le Tigre back-to-back.
The Underworld is passionate about its music and it shows in both its club nights and the bands it books. Part club, part scene, it’s a credit to Camden. Open till 3am, you can dance till you go crazy.

Best For
Best venues for rocking out!
The boss has been on your back all week about your TPS report and you know it's not possible for Q3 let alone Q2, you need to unwind, you need to mosh
We’ve all heard the rumours of the World’s End – Europe’s biggest pub – but it’s the space below where the real action is. Reforming punk bands make a beeline for it, metal-heads love to play there and the great thing is it’s cheap. For piped rock music see the pub above but for the real deal, stay below.
