Milk and Honey is different. The service is personal, attentive and polite. The bar tenders are so good at their art that you wonder if they took first class degrees from Oxbridge in industrial chemistry. And, unlike every other place in Soho, the environment and ambience is so relaxed that it should be classed as a site of special scientific interest by the World Heritage Organisation.
It's an excellent place to take friends, girlfriends and clients and the prices are far from astronomical. Meanwhile the food is outstanding. I have been a member of M&H for nearly six months and go regularly: I have never had a bad experience.
Milk and Honey is the London sister to New York's miniature private bar of the same name. The decor is 1930's speakeasy and covered in original art deco pieces from Paris, the States and Czechoslovakia. Anyone can join but not everyone gets to remain a member because the aim is not to be exclusive, rather inclusive.
