Great decor, great atmosphere, very friendly staff and clientele, always full. What else can I say??
Best pub around, simple as that!

Monday's quiz night is the best and funniest around!

Tuesdays 'Ribs, Rumps & Rhythms' .. half price food plus Djs to a cool party atmosphere is also excellent. Recommended!!

Rest of the week is usualy full. Closes late on Friday (1am) and Saturday (midnight).

If there is one tiny critism.. that it is a tad expensive.. I guess you get what you pay for!

While the staff are not the most friendly and getting their attention is sometimes hard, there are many other things that override that first impression.
Take the food for example. The menu is big enough to satisfy most tastes and the variety of burger toppings is fantastic! On a Sunday there are several roasts cooked to perfection and so too are the burgers. These are cook made meaty burgers at their best, which come with chunky chips.
The pub surroundings are clean and it is nice and warm coming in from the cold. The drinks are the usual compliment and there is comfortable seating.
Despite a couple of niggles, this is a good place to go of a weekend for your pub lunch, or dinner.

The King's Arms staff are appallingly rude. They don't bother to notice people who have been waiting ages at the bar, serving newcomers instead. I waited 15 minutes, and the place was only half-full. When I finally managed to catch the bartender's eye and asked (very politely) why I had been kept waiting, I was met with a barrage of aggression from not just him but the other bartender as well. Absolutely no hint of apology, or even understanding of the frustration that poor bar service can cause. I shall certainly not be bothering to attempt to spend my money in there again.
