This pub has really gone down hill over the years. Very disappointing as it has a very rich history, which the current owners don't care about. The staff are constantly changing and very few have good English, so it may take a while before you get the drink you want, that's if they have the drink you want as a lot of the time many of the drafts are dead. They also have a fly infestation!
The owners of the pub are also very rude and inconsiderate to the customers that drink there.
If you want a flat pint in a lifeless environment covered in flies then the archers is for you.
Sorry for the negativity but I've had a very unpleasant time in there, and thought it best to warn people.
The Archers is a pub that serves a variety of beers, wines and spirits as well as a selection of pub snacks and can cater for private parties of up to 30 guests upon request. They also show premier football on Sky Sports.
